Health and Well-being is the central theme of 'Building Healthy Habits'. This course focuses upon the importance of establishing a balanced lifestyle, including a healthy diet, regular exercise, relaxation and techniques to improve concentration and calm. The course content aims to enhance teacher well-being and encourages self-development through extending participants' current understanding of their own nutrition and lifestyle, as well as their knowledge of health and well-being practices. Daily yoga, meditation, mindfulness and exercise will be included. Through teachers' own learning they will be equipped to educate and support children's development of lifelong healthy habits and well-being practices.
This course is approved for 3 EPV days.
