Athlone Education Support Centre provides a number of warm and welcoming meeting rooms that can cater from small private meetings to large conference-style activities, with on-site catering facilities to meet the requirements of visitors. Capacity is reduced and lay out of our meeting rooms has changed in line with health and safety Covid-19 guidelines. Please contact reception for details.

The Centre was officially opened in October of 2001. Since that very special occasion the fabric and condition of our building has been maintained as a priority.

The most striking aspect of the architect’s design is the bright naturally lit interior. This combined with the clean aesthetic lines of the building, offers a facility that is a joy in which to work and learn.

The Centre offers a number of rooms suitable for most meeting purposes. These spaces can be configured in various settings for optimal use by tutors.

Athlone Education Centre has a number of rooms for training purposes and for meetings

Tea , coffee and lunches can be provided for those attending seminars or meetings by prior arrangement.

Cancellation:

Lunches: The number of lunches on the booking form will be the number of lunches charged for, unless notification of change is received no later than 48 hours in advance of the booked date.

Room Hire:

A cancellation fee of 100% of room hire will be applied if booking is cancelled on the day of, or the day preceding the booked date. A 50% cancellation fee is applied if cancelled within 2-3 days of booked date.

Insurance:

All individuals and/or groups that are not part of the Department of Education & Skills (DES) will be asked to produce a valid insurance certificate to cover their activities in Athlone Education Centre prior to any bookings being accepted. Failure to produce the necessary documentation will result in a cancellation of bookings. Athlone Education Centre & the DES will not be held responsible for any losses, either financial or otherwise for failure to produce such an insurance certificate.
