Online CPD sessions for Primary Teachers will be offered in February in preparation for Engineers Week (Feb 27 to March 5). Explore how telescopes have changed over time, from the earliest two lens designs to the current construction of the James Webb Space Telescope.Design and make a model of the James Webb Space Telescopeand use mathematics to explore why the mirror has been designed with hexagons. 

Suitable for teachers of 3rd class and up, this space technology focused session will involve modelling, testing and evaluation.
