LC23-70A Child Protection: Roles and Responsibilities in Primary Schools

This face to face workshop facilitated by Dr. Margaret Nohilly will provide an overview of the roles and responsibilities of teachers in the area ofchildprotection including; an awareness of signs and symptoms of abuse, handling a disclosure from achild, mandatory reporting responsibilities and curricular provision. There will be time in this meeting for teachers to ask questions and seek clarifications in matters relating tochildprotection, mindful of confidentiality requirements.
